A 42-year-old St. John’s man has been arrested and charged in connection with a recent drug investigation in the capital city region.
It all started with a traffic stop in the centre city on December 2, that resulted in charges of impaired driving, assault of a police officer and possession of a prohibited weapon against Jason Gosse. Officers seized nearly $2,000 dollars in cash, 21 grams of cocaine and a variety of illicit pills.
Last week, Gosse was arrested without incident in the west end of the capital city. Officers seized $890 dollars in cash, weigh scales and illicit pills.
Gosse is now facing nine counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking as well as breach of a court order.
