A St. John’s barber shop damaged in a freak accident last month is temporarily closing to facilitate the necessary repairs.
Fogtown Barber Shop in downtown St. John’s was damaged after a 4-door sedan crashed into the side of the building on a dark, rainy and snowy night.
The business closed for a day but then reopened to customers.
In an update on Fogtown’s Facebook page, they say that at the end of the day Saturday the shop will be closing for a few weeks to allow for repairs to the brick damaged during the crash.
They say that if it looks like the repairs will take longer than expected, they will find a temporary location.
Meanwhile, they say the Side Shop will will remain open as per normal.
