We’re about to break $1.70 per litre for gas with another big jump on the way according to a gas price watcher.
Dan McTeague says we’ll be paying another five cents a litre at the pumps come midnight. That’s on par with the increase last week. Diesel also goes up by about four cents and heating oil by over six cents.
If there’s any silver lining, he thinks this may be at or near the crest. McTeague, an analyst and president Canadians for Affordable Gas Prices, says our Maritime cousins are going to see similar increases.
