Premier Andrew Furey is currently isolating after coming into contact with a positive case of COVID-19.
Furey made the announcement via his social media accounts Thursday afternoon.
He says he is feeling fine but will be working from home for the next few days.
This comes one day after the premier announced the easing of all public health restrictions.
Furey says as those measures are relaxed it’s important to remember that COVID isn’t over and everyone must continue to live with it.
I will be working from home for the next few days, I’m feeling fine but am isolating after a close contact tested positive for COVID-19.
As we slowly relax restrictions, it is important to follow guidelines and remember that COVID isn’t over, we will continue to live with it.
