The Growlers have their bench boss.
Growlers Basketball has named Patrick Ewing Jr. as the Head Coach and General Manager for its inaugural 2022 season.
Son of NBA Hall-of-Famer Patrick Ewing, Ewing Jr was the assistant coach of the Ottawa BlackJacks last year in the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
Ewing Jr was drafted to the NBA in 2008, suiting up for the New Orleans Hornets and several G-League teams.
He was a G-League all-star and all-league player.
The Growlers open their season June 3rd against the defending champions, the Edmonton Stingers.
