A 38-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court today on charges stemming from a recent attempted armed robbery in South River.
RCMP were alerted around 1:20 Thursday afternoon and arrested the suspect a short time later.
Barry Shawn Power of Cupids is facing a number of charges as a result including armed robbery, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous use, and uttering threats.
