The Conservative Member for Coast of Bays-Central-Notre Dame questioned the federal government this week in the House of Commons on the future of the Bay du Nord project.
Reports last week indicated that a rift has developed in the federal Liberal caucus over whether or not to approve the project – a story that Minister Seamus O’Regan claims was “complete conjecture.”
Conservative MP Clifford Small questioned federal Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson about when the project, on which many Newfoundlanders and Labradorians rely, will finally be approved.
