The federal and provincial governments have announced funding that will see all households in Newfoundland and Labrador be connected to the internet by 2030.
In total $136-million has been announced, $20-million of which will come from the province.
The federal portion of the money comes from the Universal Broadband Fund.
Both governments will be working with internet providers to achieve national targets of having 98 per cent of Canadians connected by 2026, and 100 per cent by 2030.
