A fundraising campaign has been launched to help repair the damage caused to the Manuels River Trail System.
Officials say the trail was left “devastated” by flooding caused by heavy rainfall and snow melt in recent weeks. The campaign, launched by Manuels River Charity, has a goal of $50,000, which they say will be used to repair and restore the trails. Some 300,000 people used the trails last year.
Manuels River raises $50,000 annually towards maintenance and is hoping to be able to move forward with the next phase of the trail development plan.
