Air Canada is adding a new daily flight to Montreal from Gander International Airport.
The direct flight on board a 76-seat CRJ900, begins on June 25 and will operate in addition to Air Canada’s daily flights to Halifax and Toronto.
President and CEO of the Gander International Airport Authority is delighted with the news, while Mayor Percy Farwell says the direct flight will provide excellent tourism and business opportunities for the airport town.
It’s one of a number of new national routes announced by the carrier today.
