Public Health is making changes to the reporting of daily COVID case counts.

For the last two years the province has been providing regular, often daily, case counts on the number of confirmed COVID cases.

Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says that is changing.

She says they’re looking at reporting similar to that done with flu cases in the past.

In the meantime, the province is now allowing people to report the results of recent positive rapid tests on their website.

She says it’s another way for the province to determine trends.
