Choices for Youth is encouraging the public to brave the cold weather and participate in today’s virtual CNOY walk, in support of young people in need.
The annual event raises funds for Choices for Youth’s Outreach and Youth Engagement program, which served an estimated 1,000 youth last year alone. Participants will be taking part in more than 100 cities across Canada.
The organization says the ongoing pandemic has led to an increased demand for services.
They’re aiming to raise $50,000 for youth in the province.
Donations can be made online.
