It was a special reveal for a young girl going through a life-altering battle.
Last year, Krista Wells decided to team up with Candlelighters NL to give a child going through pediatric cancer a bedroom makeover.
In mid-February it was announced that 14-year-old Rachel, who is going through leukemia treatments, would be receiving the makeover.
Over the last two weeks, Wells, along with the support of several local businesses, renovated the girl’s room to give her a safe space to help her through her battle.
Wells has been documenting the process through her Instagram account, sharing the reveal with her followers on Friday.
The girl gasps as she’s lead into the room for the first time, with Wells commenting that it may go down as one of her favorite reveals of all time.
In a post on social media Candlelighters thanked everyone for the work that was put in, specifically thanking Wells for her ” huge heart” and “amazing eye for design.”
They say that in a world of uncertainty it’s great to feel certain about the kindness of others.
