U.S. college hockey standout Abby Newhook is the winner of the Marg Davis Memorial Award for female athlete of the year.
Playing for Boston College, she’s been named Hockey East’s Player of the Week several times, was named the Hockey East top rookie for November, and is a finalist for the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Year Award.
Newhook has also been invited to Hockey Canada’s Women’s NextGen Summer Development camp.

Liam Hickey is this year’s Male Athlete of the Year, and winner of the Tom “Dynamite” Dunne Memorial Award.
Hickey was a member of Team Canada’s 2021 Para Hockey team, and was recently named an assistant captain for the Winter Para Olympic Games in Beijing.
And finally Team Gushue is, not surprisingly, winner of the Molson Coors Canada team of the year award.
Aside from their gold and bronze Olympic medals, Team Gushue last year won the Boost National in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling.
They then won the Tim Horton’s curling trials in Saskatoon to book their return tickets to the Olympics.
