The province’s online big game licence draw application process is now open to the public.
The moose quota for the island of Newfoundland this hunting season is 27,665.
That includes 17,850 either sex, 9,360 male only and 455 Not-For-Profit licences.
In Labrador the overall quota of moose licences available remains at 345.
This year’s big game applications have moved to a primarily online process. Detailed account set-up instructions were recently mailed to all hunters who do not currently have a WIMS online account.
Online applications will remain open until April 29.
