The provincial government has announced the appointment of David Lewis as Chair of the Standing Fish Price-Setting Panel.
The panel arbitrates raw material prices in the province’s inshore fishery.
Lewis replaces Wayne Follett who recently resigned after questions were raised about his being in a possible conflict of interest.
Lewis is a former Deputy Minister who has worked with harvesters and processors for more than 40 years.
