Grand Falls-Windsor has formed a Community Healthcare Coalition Committee.
The committee is made up of volunteers with experience in improving healthcare services in the central region.
They will focus on investigating the plans from the Health Accord, the Greene Report, and the government to make sure the strategies will improve care in Central Newfoundland.
They will also try to ensure the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre can adequately respond to the needs of the catchment population.
