No information is yet available following what police are describing as a “serious” collision on Markland Road in Whitbourne Saturday night.
The accident was first reported shortly before 5:30 p.m., near the Markland Cottage Winery.
The road was closed for a time as emergency crews attended to the scene.
The road reopened around 7:30 p.m. No further information is available at this time.
