The province is reporting two new deaths and nine new hospitalizations because of COVID-19.

The deaths are a woman in her 70s in Eastern Health, and a woman in her 60s in Central health. 68 people have now died in the province due to COVID-19.

The are currently 25 people in hospital, five of whom are in critical care. That’s nine new hospitalizations since the last update on Friday.

Meanwhile, there are 443 new confirmed cases being reported today, that’s in addition to 469 new cases on Saturday and 332 on Sunday.

Public health is reporting 232 new recoveries since yesterday, leaving 3,216 active cases in the province.
