One man has been taken into custody following a lengthy incident on Whitmore Street in Grand Falls-Windsor.
RCMP responded to the residence around mid-day Monday, with police asking area residents to stay indoors and stay away from the area.
Just before 9:00 p.m. RCMP indicated that one man was taken into custody bringing the police operation to a conclusion. More information is expected to be released on Tuesday.
