Federal Transport Minister to Make Infrastructure Announcement at YYT

A funding announcement is coming this morning for infrastructure projects at St. John’s International Airport.

Federal Transport Minister Omar Alghabra will be joined by Labour Minister Seamus O’Regan for the announcement this morning along with the CEO of the St. John’s International Airport Authority, Peter Avery, and MP Joanne Thompson.

The funding is intended to help the airport in its recovery from slowdowns caused by COVID-19.

The announcement is scheduled for 10:00 this morning. VOCM News will be there.
