Roads are slippery today in many areas of the province with snow, ice and slush.
The RNC were responding to four motor vehicle collisions in the metro region at roughly the same time after a steady dose of freezing drizzle.
Highways advised drivers to stay off a section of the TCH as crews were laying down salt and sand.
The ice will change to rain early this afternoon.
⚠️ Please drive with caution and reduce speeds during your travels this morning. Road conditions are less than ideal with ice, rain, and slush on the Avalon. Patrol officers are on the scene of at least 4 separate collisions. #nltraffic #YourRNC
