The provincial government has begun the process of performing a review of the pandemic response over the last two years.

Newfoundland and Labrador’s public health emergency officially ended at 12:01 Monday morning.

Premier Andrew Furey says Dr. Fitzgerald’s team is required to provide a review of their response six months after the public health emergency is lifted.

He says there will be areas in need of improvement. He thinks it’s incumbent upon government to look for ways to improve the process.
