The provincial government has unveiled its new COVID dashboard for the reporting of COVID cases.

A news release outlining a list of numbers has been replaced by graphs, which will be updated at noon three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

New confirmed cases have averaged around 550 a day Saturday through today according to the latest graph, with 27 people in hospital – 6 of whom are critical care.

Twelve of the hospitalizations are in Eastern Health, eight are in Central Health, five in Western Health and two are in Labrador-Grenfell Health.

The dashboard also includes stats on vaccination rates which are over 90 per cent for people five years of age and over.
