A 61-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an incident in the community of Head of Bay d’Espoir Monday afternoon.
RCMP says the man was working on an ATV inside a shed when somehow the machine caught fire.
The man, who suffered extensive burns, as a result, was taken to hospital in Grand Falls-Windsor and then transferred to the Health Sciences.
Police say the incident is not suspicious in nature.
