Here comes the green, as people around the world celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland.
One of the St. Patrick’s Day hotspots is the Benevolent Irish Society on Harvey Road in St. John’s.
President Jim Conroy says they have a full weekend of events that are sure to be fun for everyone.
There will be a pancake breakfast followed by music and darts in the afternoon, a light supper, and live music in the evening.
The celebration continues with live music Friday night, wrapping with a dinner and dance on Saturday, with music by the Crowders.
