The RNC have released more information on the suspicious death of an elderly woman at a St. John’s home Wednesday night.
Police were called around 10:20 p.m. by paramedics who were attending to an 82-year-old woman at a home on Mitchell Court in St. John’s.
The elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Investigators are treating the death as suspicious and are looking for more information from the public in the general area late last night and early this morning.
RNC are seeking witnesses, CCTV, or dash cam footage from the Mitchell Court, Stabb Court, Keegan Court, Cowperthwaite Court, Guy Street, Anderson Avenue, Holyes Avenue and Freshwater Road, between Elizabeth and Empire avenues, between 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16 and 12:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17.
The Chief Medical Examiner has been notified to determine the cause of death.
