The bulk cargo carrier Comanche is reported stable at anchor in Placentia Bay.

The Canadian Coast Guard provided an update on the vessel on Friday.

The Comanche, which was adrift off the province’s south coast last week after losing power, was towed into Placentia Bay last weekend.

The Coast Guard says the vessel, which is connected to the Maersk Clipper, poses no risk to the crew or the environment.
