Police are warning of a scam involving someone impersonating an officer.
Holyrood RCMP says they’ve received a report that an individual has been identifying himself as an RCMP officer with the detachment.
The individual then requests money to help address elder abuse.
The detachment says this is a scam, and anyone who encounters this individual should report the incident to police.
