Sharing Our Cultures has launched its annual exhibition at The Rooms, aimed at sharing some of the many cultures that make up the province.
The exhibit features presentations from 50 high school students about traditions from all over the world.
This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the annual event.
Founder Dr. Lloydetta Quaicoe says the more we learn about each other, the more likely we are to respect and accept each other.
She says it helps newcomers feel accepted and to feel like they belong.
Shahin Labib is a student from Holy Heart who is participating in the event. His presentation is all about Romania, and some of the foods that can be found there.
The free exhibit at the Rooms is open today through Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.
