The Autism Society is hosting a virtual job fair to help fill the need for respite care workers.
ASNL’s Manager of Client Services, Sarah White, says accessing respite care is a significant concern for the families they serve.
Newfoundland and Labrador has an Autism Spectrum Disorder incidence rate of one in 45 in children aged 5 to 17 resulting in high demand for respite care.
The job fair is scheduled at noon on Wednesday, March 23 via Zoom.
Happening tomorrow at noon! Virtual job fair to connect homecare agencies to interested respite caregivers!
