The federal and provincial governments have announced $22,355,503 dollars to set up high-speed internet to more than 1,000 households on the north coast of Labrador.
The network will be built and operated by Bell Canada and will serve Natuashish, Nain, Makkovik, Hopedale, Postville and Rigolet.
The funding is part of joint funding announced in February to connect all remaining households in the province to high-speed internet services.
