The Hibernia Management and Development Company is reporting another near-miss on the Hibernia platform, just days after a similar incident.

HMDC says on March 20th a crane lifting a mini container made contact with a scaffold that contained three people.

There were no injuries and no damage to the scaffold hoarding.

Crane operations on the west pedestal were halted at the time, with an investigation being launched.

The incident occurred just days after another near-miss incident on the Hibernia platform on March 15th, when an 8 kg piece of a motor fell from a crane, dropping ten metres to the deck.
