A 44-year-old man is facing a slew of charges after an incident in St. John’s around 9:00 Friday morning.
The man, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, allegedly sprayed two RNC officers and a Corrections Canada worker with bear spray when they attempted to arrest him.
The officers were ultimately able to subdue him and make the arrest.
The suspect was held for court today on numerous charges, including three counts of assault with a weapon, resisting arrest, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
