The province’s Education Minister says the school system is preparing for the possible arrival of Ukrainian families in the wake of the war in that country.
Tom Osborne says enrollment in the K-12 system increased by 1000 over projections in the last year.
He says they’re ready for more increases, should Ukrainian refugees choose to come to this province.
He says resources are already in place, with more measures to be announced in the upcoming budget.
