Walk-in x-ray services have not yet returned at medical imaging departments in Central Health. The health authority says for now, outpatient x-rays are being accommodated through appointments.

That approach prevents overcrowding in the department and delays at registration according to Central Health.

The health authority is exploring a hybrid model to offer both walk-ins and appointment-based services.
