The Mayor of Stephenville is feeling bullish about economic development opportunities in the town stemming from a number of recent ventures.
The Dymond Group’s plans to purchase the old Stephenville Airport has reinvigorated the area says Mayor Tom Rose.
He says the plans for Stephenville Airport are drawing the attention of the corporate community. He says there are only five or six locations around the globe where you can do intermodal air to sea or sea to air, and Stephenville is one of them. Rose says the closest similar facility to Stephenville in North America is in Seattle, Washington.
