Avalon Expo 8 is coming this spring.
The sci-fi and comic convention will be at the Holiday Inn on Portugal Cove Road and feature over 60 vendors, video and tabletop games, and a variety of guests taking part in signings and panels.

A costume contest will also take place, and there will be groups and clubs participating in workshops.
This year’s special guest is legendary voice actor Tiffany Grant, who has appeared in over 1,700 episodes of various anime (ANNA-may). Grant is the voice of Asuka Langley from the English dub of the popular anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The event kicks off on April 29th and runs until May 1. Advance passes are available through the Avalon Expo website.
