Government has announced nearly $190,000 in funding for Labrador projects under the Come Home Year 2022 Cultural Economic Development Program.

The funding covers seventeen recently-approved projects.

Minister of Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation and Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, Lisa Dempster, says the approved projects will engage residents and visitors in many interesting festivals and concerts, along with activities that showcase the culture and traditions of the Big Land and its people.

She says government “eagerly anticipates the celebrations.”
