Construction has begun on the province’s very first hospice.
The Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor is the first community-based end-of-life care facility in the province.
The Presentation Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor has been redesigned to become a modern, fully-equipped, 2,430 square metre residence designed to meet the care needs of people at the end of life.
Completion is targeted for the spring of 2023. Construction is being carried out by Burnt Bay Construction Limited who are working closely with designers Fougere Menchenton Architecture.
