RCMP are looking to identify the owner of a vehicle that was set ablaze in a wooded area off Country Road in Bay Roberts.
Police were first notified of the burnt and abandoned newer-model Hyundai SUV last Friday.
The license plate and vehicle identification number were destroyed during the fire, which they are investigating as arson.
Police say the blaze occurred some time in the last week or so.
