The town of Grand Falls-Windsor has announced its schedule of events for the 2022 Kelly Ford Exploits Valley Salmon Festival.

This year’s format will follow that of 2019 before the pandemic with a variety of events highlighting music, food, and culture.

Highlights of this year’s events include the traditional Salmon Dinner, a Carnival Eats night, a Songwriters Circle featuring Bishop’s Falls native Barry Canning, a stadium concert, outdoor adventure day at Gorge Park, a fly fishing event, Pub Crawl and Teen Trivia Night.

Musical showcases will feature performances by Billy and the Bruisers, The 8 Track Favourites, Barry Canning, Deb Power, the Swinging Belles, Fred Penner, Landlocked, Rock Flare, and many more.

A comedy night is also planned featuring John Sheehan and Lisa Baker.
