The ski lift at Marble Mountain is now closed for the season but that doesn’t mean activities have slowed.
The marketing manager for the facility, Dustin Parsons, says they have events on for the next 11 days starting with the Mountain Market today. Dozens of Easter-themed vendors have been set up at the base.
Over the next few days, they will be welcoming snowmobiles for the sno-cross races, an event which attracts many spectators.
Parsons sees Marble as the “centre of fun” on the west coast which can be active for all four seasons—not just winter.
A pass to the races costs $10.
