VOCM Cares is hosting a radiothon this afternoon on VOCM in support of Ronald McDonald House.
The funds raised will go towards the Family Time Park initiative.
The $750,000 campaign will see numerous upgrades to the outdoor space at Ronald McDonald House. Currently, $100,000 in funding has come from a capital reserve, and $325,000 has already been raised through private donations. However, there is still a ways to go to reach the fundraising goal.
It’s hoped that the new outdoor area will be ready in time for RMHC’s 10th anniversary this September.
The radiothon is taking place this afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m. on VOCM.
