It’s not what you’d expect to see while out for an Easter Sunday Drive – about a dozen cows on the loose on the highway near Whitbourne.
Fire Chief Jamie Budden says the cows escaped from a nearby farm, leading them to wander near the corner of the TCH and the Argentia Access Road, near A&W.
Budden asked drivers to use caution in the area as they attempted to wrangle the cows.
