The cause of a fire in a residential property on Queen’s Road in St. John’s this morning does not appear to be suspicious.
The RNC say it appears as though a dehumidifier in a basement malfunctioned, causing a fire.
The St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to the call around 6:00 this morning and were on the scene for a few hours.
