The RNC are investigating multiple armed robberies that occurred in the metro region on Tuesday.

At around noon, officers responded to a business in the strip mall on Kenmount Road near Montana’s following reports of a robbery. Officials say the male suspect entered the business, presented a weapon, and demanded cash.

The man had fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Later, at about 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a similar report at a business on Elizabeth Avenue. Two suspects entered the establishment with weapons, fleeing towards Anderson Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
