The Shadow Minister of Finance says action is long overdue when it comes to dealing with rising gas prices.
Tony Wakeham, MHA for Stephenville-Port au Port, says the Conservatives have been suggesting ways to keep gas prices reasonable, but Finance Minister Siobhan Coady has failed to take action.
He says now that the price of gas has exceeded $2 per litre, he questions how high the price will be allowed to go before action is taken.
