The minister of children, seniors and social development will, along with city and SeniorsNL officials, today announce funding for the Metrobus Bus Pass Program.
The provincial government has vowed to expand the bus pass program to a broader group of users, but doubt was cast on the idea earlier this month by some city councillors.
Today’s announcement is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Metrobus on Messenger Drive in St. John’s.
