The City of St. John’s is looking for feedback from landlords on the rental landscape.
The city says there have been many changes to the rental environment over the past several years, as well as to the local community sector and the broader economy.
The Affordable Housing Working Group is looking to hear from landlords to understand the impacts of such changes.
They’re hoping to gauge interest in providing affordable housing and build knowledge around it, as well as look at barriers to providing it.
An online survey was launched today around the issue, and will be open until June 3.
The city is also hosting an information session for landlords at the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and Homelessness Network’s Learning Centre on May 25. Participation can be in person or virtual.
Landlords & property managers are invited to participate in public engagement, from May 9 to June 3.
Engagement includes opportunities to build relationships between private landlords, property managers, government & community groups.https://t.co/AFCQCHCSQf pic.twitter.com/6SUKwYYIEA
